The area around Bohinjso jazero is mountainous and full of trees, so we did not see the lake till the time our van was parked in Camp Zlatorog Bohinj, or it is also just called Camp Bohinj. Our jaws fell as soon as we reached close to the lake and stood on one of its many beaches. The landscape was right out of a travel movie, and we were in it! Of course, we decided to stay here longer than just one day. After all, it is one of Europe’s most beautiful lakes. Out of many stunning lakes that I have seen all over the world, Bohinj lake is right on top of my list of favorites. A lot of that experience has to do with the fact we were next to the lake every single minute for the duration of our visit. Thank god we found Camp Bohinj!
